Information on data protection
The Regional Financial Authority (Landesamt für Finanzen - LfF) of Rhineland Palatinate will make every effort to ensure the accuracy and topicality of all of the information and data contained on its website. However, any liability or guarantee as regards up-to-datedness, correctness or completeness of the information and data made available shall be excluded. Under no circumstances will any liability be accepted for damage resulting from the use or application of the information that was obtained.
The LfF reserves the right to make amendments, modifications or additions to the information or data made available at any time and without prior notice.
When accessing the LfF website, the following data will be saved in a log file:
- anonymised IP address (the IP address is anonymised by deleting half of it),
- date and time of access,
- called-up page or name of the retrieved file, as the case may be,
- notification as to whether the page was successfully accessed or the file successfully retrieved, as the case may be,
- volume of data transmitted,
- type of web browser and operating system used on the client side
30 days after the end of the day of access, the log file will be deleted automatically. The aforementioned information and data will be used exclusively for statistic purposes and to ensure proper operation. No personal user profiles will be created. There will be no disclosure to third parties. This internet presence does not use any techniques targeting at tracing or evaluating the access habits of individual users.
When individual pages are called up, so-called temporary cookies are used. These session cookies do not contain any personal data and will be deleted automatically after the session has expired when your web browser is closed down.
The LfF does not use any Java applets or Active X controls.
In certain cases, personal data such as name, address or information regarding availability are required in order to be able to use the services. Insofar as they are processed, the type, extent, and purpose of processing will be stated in the respective context. You consent to this processing by entering the requested data. You can withdraw your consent from the LfF at any time with effect for the future. This will not cause you any disadvantages.
Online application
Your application data are processed in an automated application procedure. These data are only processed to support the selection of personnel and to facilitate the work in connection with a potential future employment. In compliance with art. 13 of the State Data Protection Act (Landesdatenschutzgesetz - LDSG), only those data will be processed that are necessary for the application and selection procedure; they will be transmitted to the employee representation in charge only within the framework of the statutory co-determination procedure. Your personnel data will be stored in a "personnel file" and deleted following the end of the hiring procedure.
Piwik
For collecting statistical data regarding the use of this internet presence, the web analytics service Piwik is used, which stores a recognition cookie for a period of 7 days. During the transfer of statistical data, no personal data is recorded.
Nevertheless you can object to the collection of your – already anonymised – user behaviour: Please follow the link to disable or enable Piwik web analytics service. By doing so, a Piwik deactivation cookie is stored or deleted.
Please note that the Piwik deactivation cookie will also be deleted if you clean up cookies stored by your browser. You also have to carry out the deactivation procedure again if you work on another computer or use another web browser.
